Sukta 8.25
महान्ता मित्रावरुणा सम्राजा देवावसुरा । ऋतावानावृतमा घोषतो बृहत् ॥
mahā́ntā mitrā́varuṇā samrā́jā devā́v asurā́ | ṛtá-vānāv ṛtám ā́ ghoṣato bṛhát ||
Groß sind Mitra und Varuṇa – zwei Könige vereint, göttlich und herrisch, Träger des ṛta. Laut verkünden sie das ṛta, das Große (Bṛhat), damit die Seele es höre und sein Gesetz rechter Harmonie ergreife.
