Sukta 8.20

गोभिर्वाणो अज्यते सोभरीणां रथे कोशे हिरण्यये । गोबन्धवः सुजातास इषे भुजे महान्तो नः स्परसे नु ॥

góbhir vāṇó ajyate sóbharīṇāṃ ráthe kóśe hiraṇyáye | gó-bandhavaḥ su-jātāsa iṣé bhujé mahā́nto naḥ spárase nú ||

Mit Strahlen des Lichts wird die inspirierte Rede gesalbt; in den goldenen Kasten ist sie gelegt auf dem Wagen des Geschlechts des Sobharī. O Verwandte des Lichts, wohlgeborene Mächte, zu Mehrung und zu Genuss — berührt uns jetzt mit eurer Größe.
