Transliteration

tā vā́ṃ gīrbhír vipanyávaḥ práyasvanto havāmahe | medhásātā saniṣyávaḥ ||

Translation

Euch beide rufen wir mit Hymnen, mit inspirierten Worten — euch, die ihr die Seele zu erwecken vermögt — und bringen unseren Opferdrang dar; nach Gewinn verlangend, mögen wir durch leuchtende Einsicht (medhā) erringen.
