Transliteration

tám ū́rmim ā́po mádhumattamaṃ vo’pā́ṃ napād avatu āśuhemā́ | yásmin índro vásubhir mā́dayāte tám aśyāma deváyanto vo adyá ||

Translation

O Wasser, Apāṃ Napāt (Apāṃ Napāt), schnell in seiner goldenen Bewegung, möge euch jene Woge schützen, die am reichsten an Süße ist. Jene, in der Indra mit den Vasus jauchzt — die mögen wir, nach dem Göttlichen verlangend, heute durch euch erlangen.
