अभी षतस्तदा भरेन्द्र ज्यायः कनीयसः । पुरूवसुर्हि मघवन्त्सनादसि भरेभरे च हव्यः ॥

abhī́ ṣatáḥ tádā́ bharéndra jyā́yaḥ kanī́yasaḥ | purūvásur hí maghavants sanā́d asi bháre-bhare ca hávyaḥ ||

Bring uns jene Kraft herbei, die die Widerstände bezwingt; o Indra, stärker als die Starken—dem Geringeren bist du der Größere. Denn du, o Freigebiger, bist von alters her reich an vielen Schätzen, und in jedem Kampf bist du der zu Rufende.
