अग्नी रक्षांसि सेधति शुक्रशोचिरमर्त्यः । शुचिः पावक ईड्यः ॥
Transliteration
agnī́ rakṣā́ṃsi sedhati śukráśocir amártyaḥ | śúciḥ pāvaká ī́ḍyaḥ ||
Translation
Agni wehrt die Rākṣasas ab, die verzehrenden Mächte der Unordnung; unsterblich, hellflammend, steht er rein — der Läuterer, preiswürdig und anzurufen.
