एना मन्दानो जहि शूर शत्रूञ्जामिमजामिं मघवन्नमित्रान् । अभिषेणाँ अभ्यादेदिशानान्पराच इन्द्र प्र मृणा जही च ॥

enā́ mandānáḥ jahi śūra śátrūñ jāmím ajāmím maghavann amítrān | abhí-seṇāṃ abh yā́-dédiśānān parā́ca indra prá mṛṇā́ jahī́ ca ||

Mit diesem (Soma), jauchzend, schlage nieder, o Held, die Feinde – Verwandte und Nichtverwandte, o Freigebiger, die Unfreundlichen. Die in Scharen gegen uns anrücken, von allen Seiten heranstürmend – dränge sie zurück, o Indra; zermalme sie und schlage sie abermals.
