इन्द्र तुभ्यमिन्मघवन्नभूम वयं दात्रे हरिवो मा वि वेनः । नकिरापिर्ददृशे मर्त्यत्रा किमङ्ग रध्रचोदनं त्वाहुः ॥
índra túbhyam ín maghavann abhūma vayáṃ dātré harivo mā́ ví vénaḥ | nákir ā́pir dadṛśe mártyatrā́ kím aṅgá radhrá-codanaṃ tvā́huḥ ||
Indra, dir allein, o Freigebiger, sind wir zu Gebern geworden; o Herr der fahlen Rosse, entfremde uns nicht. Kein Maß, keine Grenze wird von dir im Bereich der Sterblichen erblickt — warum nennen sie dich dann den „Antreiber des Lahmen“?
