Sukta 6.40
आ याहि शश्वदुशता ययाथेन्द्र महा मनसा सोमपेयम् । उप ब्रह्माणि शृणव इमा नोऽथा ते यज्ञस्तन्वे वयो धात् ॥
ā́ yāhi śáśvad uśatā́ yayā́théndra mahā́ mánasā soma-péyam | úpa bráhmāṇi śṛṇava imā́ no ’áthā te yajñás tanvé váyo dhāt ||
Komm, wie immer, auf dem von dir begehrten Weg, Indra, mit weitem Geist, zum Trank des Soma. Höre in deiner Nähe diese unsere inspirierten Worte (brahmāṇi); dann möge dein Opfer Kraft in deinen eigenen Leib der Erscheinung legen.
