Sukta 6.3
स ईं रेभो न प्रति वस्त उस्राः शोचिषा रारपीति मित्रमहाः । नक्तं य ईमरुषो यो दिवा नॄनमर्त्यो अरुषो यो दिवा नॄन् ॥
sa ī́m rebhó na práti vaste usrā́ḥ śóciṣā rārāpīti mitrám-ahāḥ | náktaṃ ya īm aruṣó yó divā́ nṝ́n amártyo aruṣó yó divā́ nṝ́n ||
Er, wie ein kundiger Sänger des Wortes, kleidet sich in die leuchtenden Uṣas; mit seiner Flamme lässt er die freundlichen Tage widerhallen. Der, der bei Nacht der Rötliche ist, und der, der bei Tag die Menschen führt — der Unsterbliche, der Rötliche, der bei Tag die Menschen führt.
