Sukta 6.3
ईजे यज्ञेभिः शशमे शमीभिॠधद्वारायाग्नये ददाश । एवा चन तं यशसामजुष्टिर्नांहो मर्तं नशते न प्रदृप्तिः ॥
ī́je yajñébhiḥ śaśamé śámībhiḥ ṛ́dhat-vārāyā́gnáye dadāśa | evā́ caná táṃ yaśásām ájuṣṭir nā́ṃho mártaṃ naśate ná pra-dṛ́ptiḥ ||
Er hat mit Opfern verehrt; er ist durch besänftigende Weisen zur Ruhe gekommen; er hat Agni, dem mit den sich weitenden Toren, dargebracht. So erreicht jenen Sterblichen weder Zurückweisung durch die ruhmreichen Mächte, noch Bedrängnis (ā́ṃhas), noch übermütige Vermessenheit.
