पाता सुतमिन्द्रो अस्तु सोमं प्रणेनीरुग्रो जरितारमूती । कर्ता वीराय सुष्वय उ लोकं दाता वसु स्तुवते कीरये चित् ॥

Transliteration

pā́tā sutám índro astu sómaṃ praṇenī́r ugró jaritā́ram ūtī́ | kártā vīrā́ya súṣvaya u lokáṃ dā́tā vásu stuváte kīráye cit ||

Translation

Indra soll den gepressten Soma trinken – der Gewaltige, der den Sänger durch seinen Schutz voranführt. Er schafft dem Helden, der gut presst, weiten Raum; er schenkt Güter dem Lobpreisenden, selbst dem Dichter und seinem Lied.
