इति चिन्मन्युमध्रिजस्त्वादातमा पशुं ददे । आदग्ने अपृणतोऽत्रिः सासह्याद्दस्यूनिषः सासह्यान्नॄन् ॥

Transliteration

íti cit manyúm adhríjas tvā́dātam ā́ paśúṃ dade | ā́d agne ápṛṇato ’tríḥ sāsahyā́d dásyūn íṣaḥ sāsahyā́n nṝ́n ||

Translation

So legt selbst der Unentzündete (oder der Ungeordnete) seinen Zorn ab und bringt die durch dich errungene Lebenskraft dar. Dann, o Agni, würde Atri — unerschöpflich im Geben — die Dasyus überwältigen: er würde die Antriebe des Wachstums gewinnen, er würde die wahren Männer gewinnen (die starken Seelenkräfte).
