Transliteration

ī́ḷe agníṃ svá-vasam námo-bhir ihá prá-satto ví cayat kṛtáṃ naḥ | ráthaiḥ iva prá bhare vājáyat-bhiḥ pra-dakṣiṇín marútāṃ stómam ṛdhyām ||

Translation

Ich preise Agni, den aus eigener Kraft Wirkenden, mit Verehrungen hier; vorn sitzend, möge er das von uns Gewirkte erkennen und ordnen. Wie Wagen, die die Fülle der Stärke tragen, möge der Hymnus der Maruts mit rechtem Antrieb voranschreiten und gedeihen.
