Sukta 5.51

Rishi: Atri (Ātreya tradition; hymn attributed to the Atri family)
Devata: Indra-Vāyu (with Soma as the offering-power)

सुता इन्द्राय वायवे सोमासो दध्याशिरः । निम्नं न यन्ति सिन्धवोऽभि प्रयः ॥

sutā́ indrā́ya vāyáve sómāso dádhyāśiraḥ | nímnaṃ ná yánti síndhavo ’bhí práyaḥ ||

Die für Indra und Vāyu ausgepressten Somas, mit dadhyāśir (geronnener Milchmischung) vermengt, strömen zum Opfergut (prayaḥ) hin, wie Flüsse zur Tiefe eilen.
