नव यदस्य नवतिं च भोगान्त्साकं वज्रेण मघवा विवृश्चत् । अर्चन्तीन्द्रं मरुतः सधस्थे त्रैष्टुभेन वचसा बाधत द्याम् ॥
nava yad asya navatiṃ ca bhogānt sākam vajreṇa maghavā vivṛścat | arcantīndraṃ marutaḥ sadhaste traiṣṭubhena vacasā bādhata dyām ||
Als der freigebige Maghavan mit dem Vajra zugleich die neunundneunzig Genüsse des Gegners zerschlug, besangen die Maruts am gemeinsamen Sitz Indra; mit dem Triṣṭubh-Wort sprengten sie den Himmel auf und schufen Raum für das höhere Licht.
