अश्वेव चित्रारुषी माता गवामृतावरी । सखाभूदश्विनोरुषाः ॥
Transliteration
aśvā́ iva citrā́ruṣī mātā́ gavām ṛtā́varī | sákhābhūd aśvínoḥ uṣā́ḥ ||
Translation
Wie ein leuchtend rotglänzendes Ross erstrahlt sie in vielen Farben; sie ist die Mutter der Strahlen‑Kühe, die Hüterin des ṛta, die das Rechte erwählt und trägt. Uṣas ist zur Gefährtin der Aśvins geworden — sie führt die schnellen Mächte der Hilfe.
