Transliteration

śréṣṭhaṃ vaḥ péśo ádhi dhāyi darśatáṃ stómō vājā ṛbhavas táṃ jujuṣṭana | dhī́rāso hí sthā́ kaváyo vipaścítas tā́n va enā́ bráhmaṇā vedayāmasi ||

Translation

Hier ist eure beste Gestalt, schön und sichtbar, eingesetzt: der Hymnus, o Vāja und Ṛbhus – nehmt ihn mit Wohlgefallen an. Denn ihr seid wahrlich die standhaften Weisen, Dichter von durchlichteter Einsicht; durch dieses brahman, das heilige Wort, machen wir euch unserem Erkennen gegenwärtig.
