Sukta 4.27
अध श्वेतं कलशं गोभिरक्तमापिप्यानं मघवा शुक्रमन्धः । अध्वर्युभिः प्रयतं मध्वो अग्रमिन्द्रो मदाय प्रति धत्पिबध्यै शूरो मदाय प्रति धत्पिबध्यै ॥
ádha śvetáṃ kaláśaṃ góbhir aktám āpipyānáṃ maghávā śukrám ándhaḥ | adhvaryúbhiḥ práyataṃ mádhvo ágram índro mádāya práti dhat píbadhyai śūró mádāya práti dhat píbadhyai ||
Da stellte der freigebige Indra zum Trinken den weißen Krug nach vorn, mit Strahlen gesalbt, anschwellend von der lichten Essenz des Soma. Von den Adhvaryus bereitet, der erste Kamm der Süße — Indra, der Held, stellte ihn sich zur Trunkenheit vor: zu trinken und an Kraft zu wachsen.
