अव यच्छ्येनो अस्वनीदध द्योर्वि यद्यदि वात ऊहुः पुरंधिम् । सृजद्यदस्मा अव ह क्षिपज्ज्यां कृशानुरस्ता मनसा भुरण्यन् ॥

Transliteration

áva yác chyéno ásvanīd ádha dyór ví yád yádi vātá ūhúḥ puráṃdhim | sr̥jád yád as्मā́ áva ha kṣipáj jyā́ṃ kr̥śā́nur ástā mánasā bhuraṇyán ||

Translation

Als der Śyena, der Falke, hinabstieß, und als die Winde des Himmels Purandhi, die Fülle, trieben und hin und her warfen, da schleuderte Kṛśānu, der Bogenschütze, indem er sie ihm preisgab, die Sehne herab; doch der Falke, dahinstürmend mit der schnellen Wendung des Geistes, trug weiter und verlor den Schatz der Wonne nicht.
