Sukta 4.22
विश्वा रोधांसि प्रवतश्च पूर्वीर्द्यौॠष्वाज्जनिमन्रेजत क्षाः । आ मातरा भरति शुष्म्या गोर्नृवत्परिज्मन्नोनुवन्त वाताः ॥
viśvā́ rodhā́ṃsi pra-vátaś ca pūrvī́r dyáuḥ ṛṣvā́j jániman rejata kṣā́ḥ | ā́ mā́tarā bhárati śuṣmyā́ gór nṛ-vát parí-jmann nonuvanta vā́tāḥ ||
Alle Schranken und die uralten Abhänge — der Himmel, von seiner hohen Geburt her, erbebte, und die Erde. Er führt die beiden Mütter heran mit dem stürmischen Licht; die Winde, mannhaft in ihrem kreisenden Lauf, treiben voran.
