कृतं चिद्धि ष्मा सनेमि द्वेषोऽग्न इनोषि मर्तात् । इत्था यजमानादृतावः ॥
Transliteration
kṛtáṃ cíd dhi ṣmā́ sáne mi dveṣó’gna inóṣi mártāt | itthā́ yajamānād ṛtāvaḥ ||
Translation
Selbst die schon geschaffene Feindschaft werden wir dennoch überwinden — denn du, o Agni, treibst den Hass vom Sterblichen fort. So behütest du den Opfernden, o Hüter der Ṛta, der in der Wahrordnung wandelt.
