Sukta 4.1
प्र शर्ध आर्त प्रथमं विपन्याँ ऋतस्य योना वृषभस्य नीळे । स्पार्हो युवा वपुष्यो विभावा सप्त प्रियासोऽजनयन्त वृष्णे ॥
prá śárdha ārta prathamáṃ vipanyā́ṃ ṛtásya yónā vṛṣabhásya nīḷé | spārhó yúvā vapuṣyò vibhā́vā saptá priyā́so ’janayanta vṛ́ṣṇe ||
Vorwärts drängt die Schar; zuerst das begeisterte Wort — in den Schoß des Ṛta, in den festen Sitz des Stiers. Begehrenswert, jung, an Gestalt strahlend und weithin leuchtend: die sieben geliebten Mächte gebaren ihn dem Mächtigen.
