या ते अग्ने पर्वतस्येव धारासश्चन्ती पीपयद्देव चित्रा । तामस्मभ्यं प्रमतिं जातवेदो वसो रास्व सुमतिं विश्वजन्याम् ॥
yā́ te agne párvatasyeva dhā́rā́ asaścántī pī́payad deva citrā́ | tā́m asmábhyaṃ prámatim jātavedo vaso rā́sva sumatíṃ viśvájanyām ||
Jener Strom, der dein ist, o Agni – wie eines Berges stürzender Lauf –, unablässig, reich an Gestalt, der alles gedeihen lässt: schenke uns diese klare Führung, o Jātavedas, o Vasu; gewähre den guten Sinn, der allen Völkern gilt.
