Sukta 3.44
द्यामिन्द्रो हरिधायसं पृथिवीं हरिवर्पसम् । अधारयद्धरितोर्भूरि भोजनं ययोरन्तर्हरिश्चरत् ॥
dyā́m índro háridhāyasaṃ pṛthivī́ṃ hárivarpsam | ádhārayad háritor bhū́ri bhójanaṃ yáyor antár háriś cárat ||
Indra stützte den Himmel, voll falben (hari) Glanzes, und die Erde, reich an falben Gestalten. Dann setzte er reichliche Nahrung fest für die beiden hari‑Mächte; zwischen ihnen wandelt und wirkt die leuchtende Kraft.
