Transliteration

ā́ bhandamāne uṣásā upā́ke utá smayete tanvā́ virū́pe | yáthā no mitró váruṇo jújoṣad índro marútvāṃ utá vā máho-bhiḥ ||

Translation

Wenn die beiden Uṣas, herannahend, aufleuchten und mit ihrem Leib in verschiedenem Antlitz lächeln, — mögen Mitra und Varuṇa an uns Gefallen finden; und Indra, mit den Maruts, ebenso — durch seine großen Mächte.
