अमित्रायुधो मरुतामिव प्रयाः प्रथमजा ब्रह्मणो विश्वमिद्विदुः । द्युम्नवद्ब्रह्म कुशिकास एरिर एकएको दमे अग्निं समीधिरे ॥

amitrā́yudho marútām iva práyāḥ prathamajā́ bráhmaṇo víśvam íd viduḥ | dyumnávad bráhma kuśikā́sa érire éka-eko dáme agníṃ sám īdhire ||

Gegen die feindlichen Mächte gerüstet, gleich den Maruts in ihrem voranstürmenden Drang, kennen diese erstgeborenen Regungen des Brahman (des heiligen Wortes) das All — die Wahrheit des Wirkens. Die Kuśikas erhoben eine lichtvolle, sieghafte Brahma; und ein jeder entzündete in seinem Hause Agni, vollkommen, zu einer einzigen Flamme der Kraft.
