नि त्वा दधे वरेण्यं दक्षस्येळा सहस्कृत । अग्ने सुदीतिमुशिजम् ॥

Transliteration

ní tvā dadhe váreṇyaṃ dákṣasyeḷā́ sahaskṛta | ágne sudītím uśíjam ||

Translation

Ich setze dich nieder, o Agni, den Verehrungswürdigen — Eingebung der Dakṣa, durch Kraft geformt; klare, leuchtende Flamme, den Uśij, den eifrigen Sucher, der für die Opfergabe wirkt.
