Transliteration

prétāṁ yajñásya śambhúvā yuvā́m idā́ vṛṇīmahe | agníṁ ca havya-vā́hanam ||

Translation

Zieht voran zum Opfer als die beiden Mächte von Frieden und Heil; euch beide erwählen wir heute: Idā, die rechte Eingebung, und Agni, den Träger der Opfergabe.
