स संनयः स विनयः पुरोहितः स सुष्टुतः स युधि ब्रह्मणस्पतिः । चाक्ष्मो यद्वाजं भरते मती धनादित्सूर्यस्तपति तप्यतुर्वृथा ॥

Transliteration

sá saṃnáyaḥ sá vináyaḥ puróhitaḥ sá suṣṭútaḥ sá yudhí bráhmaṇas pátiḥ | cākṣmó yád vā́jaṃ bhárate matī́ dhánād ít sū́ryas tapati tapyátur vṛ́thā ||

Translation

Er ist der Führer, er ist der weise Lenker, der Vorangestellte; er ist vollkommen besungen, er ist Brahmaṇaspati im Kampf. Wenn er den vāja — die Fülle der Kraft — durch die inspirierte Einsicht herbeiträgt, dann brennt selbst die Sonne vergebens gegen diesen Gewinn.
