एवा त इन्द्रोचथमहेम श्रवस्या न त्मना वाजयन्तः । अश्याम तत्साप्तमाशुषाणा ननमो वधरदेवस्य पीयोः ॥

Transliteration

evā́ ta indrocátham ahema śravasyā́ ná tmanā́ vājáyantaḥ | aśyā́ma tát sā́ptam āśuṣāṇā́ nanámo vádhar ádevasya pīyóḥ ||

Translation

So wollen wir, o Indra, dein Lobwort sprechen um des Ruhmes willen, aus eigener Kraft ringend nach den Füllen der Beute. Mögen wir jenes Siebte (den Schritt/die Sphäre) erreichen, voranstürmend; möge die Waffe des Gottlosen, die anschwellende feindliche Macht, sich vor uns beugen.
