Sukta 2.16
प्र ते नावं न समने वचस्युवं ब्रह्मणा यामि सवनेषु दाधृषिः । कुविन्नो अस्य वचसो निबोधिषदिन्द्रमुत्सं न वसुनः सिचामहे ॥
prá te nā́vaṃ ná sámane vacasyúvaṃ bráhmaṇā yā́mi sávaneṣu dā́dhṛṣiḥ | kuvín no asyá vácaso nibódhiṣad índram utsáṃ ná vásunaḥ sicāmahe ||
Wie ein Boot zur Überfahrt gehe ich zu dir mit dem Wort, das nach Ausspruch verlangt, mit dem Brahman‑Mantra bei den Soma‑Pressungen, du Standhafter. Möge er wahrlich auf diese unsere Rede achten; mögen wir Indra ausgießen wie eine Quelle der Reichtümer.
