Sukta 10.87
परा शृणीहि तपसा यातुधानान्पराग्ने रक्षो हरसा शृणीहि । परार्चिषा मूरदेवाञ्छृणीहि परासुतृपो अभि शोशुचानः ॥
párā śṛṇīhi tápasā yātudhā́nān párāgne rákṣo hárasā śṛṇīhi | párārcíṣā mū́radevān śṛṇīhi párā asutṛ́paḥ abhí śóśucānaḥ ||
Treibe weit fort die Yātudhāna durch dein tapas, o Agni; treibe weit fort die Rakṣas durch deine heftige Kraft. Mit deiner Flamme treibe weit fort die falschen Götter; lodernd treibe weit fort die, die sich am Lebenshauch nähren.
