त्वष्टारं वायुमृभवो य ओहते दैव्या होतारा उषसं स्वस्तये । बृहस्पतिं वृत्रखादं सुमेधसमिन्द्रियं सोमं धनसा उ ईमहे ॥

tváṣṭāraṃ vāyúm ṛ́bhavo yá óhate daivyā́ hótārā uṣásaṃ svastáye | bṛ́haspátiṃ vṛtra-khādáṃ su-medhásaṃ indriyáṃ sómaṃ dhanasā́ u īmahe ||

Wir erbitten Tvaṣṭṛ, den Bildner, und Vāyu, den Lebenshauch; wir erbitten die Ṛbhus, die das Werk vorantreiben, und die göttlichen Hotṛs, und Uṣas, die Morgenröte, zum Heil. Wir erbitten Bṛhaspati, den Vṛtra-Verzehrer, den Wohlweisen, und Soma, die Kraft von Wonne und Sieg, zum Gewinn der Schätze.
