विरूपास इदृषयस्त इद्गम्भीरवेपसः । ते अङ्गिरसः सूनवस्ते अग्नेः परि जज्ञिरे ॥

virū́pāsa íd ṛ́ṣayas tá íd gambhīrá-vepasaḥ | te aṅgírasas sū́navas te agnéḥ pári jajñire ||

Vielgestaltig wahrlich sind jene Rishis, tief in ihrem inneren Beben; das sind die Aṅgirases, ihre Söhne, ringsum aus Agni geboren – dem Feuer des Willens.
