Sukta 10.54
यदचरस्तन्वा वावृधानो बलानीन्द्र प्रब्रुवाणो जनेषु । मायेत्सा ते यानि युद्धान्याहुर्नाद्य शत्रुं ननु पुरा विवित्से ॥
yád ácaras tanvā́ vāvṛdhānó bálānīndra prábruvāṇo jáneṣu | māyét sá te yā́ni yuddhā́ny āhúr nā́dya śátruṃ nánu purā́ vivitse ||
Als du in deinem eigenen Leib dahinschrittest, an Kraft zunehmend, o Indra, und unter den Völkern deine Mächte verkündend — das ist wahrlich deine Māyā, jene Kämpfe, von denen man spricht. Du suchst auch heute keinen Feind aus: denn schon zuvor hattest du ihn erkannt.
