Sukta 10.36
विश्वस्मान्नो अदितिः पात्वंहसो माता मित्रस्य वरुणस्य रेवतः । स्वर्वज्ज्योतिरवृकं नशीमहि तद्देवानामवो अद्या वृणीमहे ॥
viśvásmān no áditiḥ pātv áṃhaso mātā́ mitrásya váruṇasya revátaḥ | svàrvaj jyótir avṛkáṃ naśīmahi tád devānām ávo adyā́ vṛṇīmahe ||
Möge Aditi uns vor jeder Bedrängnis schützen, die Mutter Mitras und des strahlenden Varuṇa. Mögen wir das Licht erreichen, voll von svar, ein Licht ohne „Wolf“, unberührt von verzehrender Finsternis. Diesen Schutz der Götter erwählen wir heute.
