Sukta 10.29
व्यानळिन्द्रः पृतनाः स्वोजा आस्मै यतन्ते सख्याय पूर्वीः । आ स्मा रथं न पृतनासु तिष्ठ यं भद्रया सुमत्या चोदयासे ॥
vyā́naḷ indráḥ pṛ́tanāḥ svójā ā́ asmai yatante sakhyā́ya pūrvī́ḥ | ā́ smā ráthaṃ ná pṛ́tanāsu tiṣṭha yáṃ bhadráyā sumatyā́ codáyāse ||
Indra hat durch eigene Kraft die Schlachten ausgebreitet; viele uralte Mächte mühen sich zu ihm hin um Freundschaft (sakhyā). Steh hier wie ein Wagen inmitten der Kämpfe — der, den du vorwärts antreibst durch heilsame, lichtvolle Sumati (rechte Gesinnung).
