Sukta 10.27
नाहं तं वेद य इति ब्रवीत्यदेवयून्त्समरणे जघन्वान् । यदावाख्यत्समरणमृघावदादिद्ध मे वृषभा प्र ब्रुवन्ति ॥
nā́haṃ táṃ véda yá ití bravī́ty ádevayūn samaráṇe jaghánvān | yadā́vākhyat samaráṇam ṛ́ghāvad ā́d íd dha me vṛṣabhā́ prá bruvanti ||
Ich kenne den nicht, der sagt: „so“ – und doch hat er im Kampf die Gottlosen erschlagen. Wenn er das Gefecht klar erblickt hat, gleich einem stürmenden Anprall, dann sprechen wahrlich in mir meine Stierkräfte hervor.
