देवानां माने प्रथमा अतिष्ठन्कृन्तत्रादेषामुपरा उदायन् । त्रयस्तपन्ति पृथिवीमनूपा द्वा बृबूकं वहतः पुरीषम् ॥

devānā́ṃ mā́ne prathamā́ atiṣṭhan kṛ́ntatrā́d eṣām úparā úd āyan | tráyas tapanti pṛthivī́m anūpā́ dvā́ bṛbū́kaṃ vahataḥ purī́ṣam ||

Nach dem Maß der Götter nahmen die ersten Mächte zuerst ihren Stand; aus dem Durchschneiden erhoben sich ihre höheren. Drei brennen über der weiten Erde und ihren Wassern; zwei tragen den bṛbūka und die reichliche Substanz und führen das Werk der Gestaltung voran.
