अध ग्मन्तोशना पृच्छते वां कदर्था न आ गृहम् । आ जग्मथुः पराकाद्दिवश्च ग्मश्च मर्त्यम् ॥
Transliteration
ádha gmantó uśánā pṛcchate vāṃ kádarthā na ā́ gṛhám | ā́ jagmathuḥ parākā́d diváś ca gmáś ca mártyam ||
Translation
Da fragt euch beide der eifrige Sucher: »Zu welchem Zweck seid ihr in unser Haus gekommen?« Aus der Ferne seid ihr gekommen — vom Himmel und aus der verborgenen Erde — in den Bereich der Sterblichen.
