Sukta 10.17
पूषा त्वेतश्च्यावयतु प्र विद्वाननष्टपशुर्भुवनस्य गोपाः । स त्वैतेभ्यः परि ददत्पितृभ्योऽग्निर्देवेभ्यः सुविदत्रियेभ्यः ॥
pūṣā tvā itaś cyāvayatu pra vidvān anaṣṭa-paśur bhuvanasya gopāḥ | sa tvā etebhyaḥ pari dadat pitṛ-bhyo 'gnir devebhyaḥ su-vidatryebhyaḥ ||
Möge Pūṣan, der Wissende, der Hüter der Welt, der kein einziges Herdentier verliert, dich von hier aus weiterführen. Er übergibt dich den Vätern; und Agni übergibt dich den Göttern, den guten Findern — damit der Weg in rechter Führung gesichert sei.
