prasū́to bhakṣám akaraṁ carā́v ápi stómam cemáṁ prathamáḥ sūrír unmṛje | suté sā́tena yády ā́gamam vāṁ práti viśvāmitra-jamadagnī dáme ||

Translation

Angeregt habe ich den Anteil in der Schale bereitet und dieses Loblied hervorgeformt – als Erster, als erleuchteter Spender. Als ich, durch das Gewinnen im gepressten Soma, zu euch beiden ins Haus kam – o Viśvāmitra und Jamadagni (Mächte des inspirierten Schauens und der feurigen Meisterschaft).
