अयमग्ने जरिता त्वे अभूदपि सहसः सूनो नह्यन्यदस्त्याप्यम् । भद्रं हि शर्म त्रिवरूथमस्ति त आरे हिंसानामप दिद्युमा कृधि ॥

Transliteration

ayám agne jaritā́ tvé abhūd ápi sáhasaḥ sūno náhy anyád asty ā́pyam | bhadráṃ hí śárma tri-varū́tham ásti te āré hiṃsā́nām ápa didyúm ā́ kṛdhi ||

Translation

Dieser Sänger, o Agni, ist mit dir eins geworden, o Sohn des Sahas (der Kraft); denn es gibt keine andere erreichbare, sichere Zuflucht. Denn dein ist ein heilsamer Schutz, dreifach umwehrt: halte das Schlagen der Frevler fern und errichte um uns einen leuchtenden Schutz.
