Sukta 10.133
त्वं सिन्धूँरवासृजोऽधराचो अहन्नहिम् । अशत्रुरिन्द्र जज्ञिषे विश्वं पुष्यसि वार्यं तं त्वा परि ष्वजामहे नभन्तामन्यकेषां ज्याका अधि धन्वसु ॥
tváṃ síndhūn ávā asṛjo ’dharā́co áhann áhim | aśatrúr indra jajñiṣe víśvaṃ púṣyasi vā́ryaṃ táṃ tvā pári ṣvajāmahe nábhantām anyakéṣāṃ jyā́kā ádhi dhánvasu ||
Du hast die Ströme abwärts freigesetzt; du hast die Schlange erschlagen. Unangefochten, o Indra, wirst du geboren; du förderst alles Erwählte, begehrenswerte Gut. Darum umarmen wir dich ringsum — mögen die Bogensehnen der anderen auf ihren Bögen erschlaffen.
