Sukta 10.124
इमं नो अग्न उप यज्ञमेहि पञ्चयामं त्रिवृतं सप्ततन्तुम् । असो हव्यवाळुत नः पुरोगा ज्योगेव दीर्घं तम आशयिष्ठाः ॥
imáṁ no agne úpa yajñám ehi páñcayāmaṁ trivṛ́taṁ saptátantum | ásó havyavā́ḷ utá naḥ purogā́ jyóg eva dī́rghaṁ táma ā́śayiṣṭhāḥ ||
Komm herzu, o Agni, zu diesem unserm Opfer—fünffach in seinen Gängen, dreifach in seiner Weite, siebenfädig in seinem Gewebe. Sei unser Träger der Opfergabe, geh uns voran; und wie mit langwährendem Licht lege die hingezogene Finsternis nieder.
