नि षु सीद गणपते गणेषु त्वामाहुर्विप्रतमं कवीनाम् । न ऋते त्वत्क्रियते किं चनारे महामर्कं मघवञ्चित्रमर्च ॥

Transliteration

ní ṣú sīda gaṇapate gaṇéṣu tvā́m āhur vípratamaṃ kavīnā́m | ná ṛté tvát kriyate kíṃ canā́re mahā́m arkaṃ maghavāñ citrám arca ||

Translation

Setze dich fest nieder, o Gaṇapati, inmitten der Gaṇas; dich nennen sie den inspiriertesten der Seher-Dichter. Ohne dich wird nichts vollbracht, weder nah noch fern. O Maghavan, singe den großen, leuchtenden Hymnus der Macht.
