udī́raya pitarā jārā́ ā́ bhágam íyakṣati haryató hṛttá iṣyati | vívakti váhniḥ svapasyáte mákhas taviṣyáte ásuro vépate matī́ ||

Erwacht, o Väter: der Liebende tritt hervor; er trachtet danach, Bhaga zu gewinnen. Der Eifrige, im Herzen erregt, drängt voran. Der Träger der Opfergabe unterscheidet; er wirkt geschickt; die Kraft des Opferwerks erstarkt; die asurische Macht erzittert im Denken.
