इन्द्र आसां नेता बृहस्पतिर्दक्षिणा यज्ञः पुर एतु सोमः । देवसेनानामभिभञ्जतीनां जयन्तीनां मरुतो यन्त्वग्रम् ॥

Transliteration

índra āsā́ṃ netā́ bṛ́haspátir dákṣiṇā yajñáḥ purá etu sómaḥ | devasenā́nām abhibhañjatīnā́ṃ jáyantīnāṃ marúto yántv ágram ||

Translation

Indra sei ihr Führer, Bṛhaspati ihre leitende Macht; Dakṣiṇā, das Opfer (yajña), gehe voran—Soma schreite vor. Von den göttlichen Heerscharen, die den Gegner zerschmettern, die siegen, mögen die Maruts an der Spitze gehen.
