यामथर्वा मनुष्पिता दध्यङ्धियमत्नत । तस्मिन्ब्रह्माणि पूर्वथेन्द्र उक्था समग्मतार्चन्ननु स्वराज्यम् ॥
yām atharvā manuṣ pitā dadhyaṅ dhiyam atnat | tasmin brahmāṇi pūrva-thā indre ukthā sam agmata arcann anu sva-rājyam ||
Jene Eingebung, die Atharvan, Manu, der Vater, und Dadhyañc in Mühe des Denkens hervorgebracht haben – in ihr kamen im Indra die uralten Brahmanen (heiligen Formeln) und die gesprochenen Lobgesänge zusammen; und die Sänger, seinem Selbstkönigtum (svarājya) folgend, singen.
